Writeup: It's an amazing thing in Hollywood that someone
like Lynda Carter can be forever remembered and beloved for
just one role, in this case, Lynda's role as Wonder Woman
in the 1976 series. It only ran for three years, so it couldn't
have been that successful, but it's survived to this day in
reruns and in the minds of the kids of that generation. I
guess it's hard to forget a hottie clad in a strange bathing
suit/corset outfit. Wonder Woman was Lynda's debut role, and
it hasn't gotten any better since then, although she has seemingly
worked when she desired to do so. You've seen her almost exclusively
in TV movies and canceled TV shows since Wonder Woman went
of the air. She has appeared as the lead in two canceled TV
shows, Partners In Crime and Hawkeyes, both very short lived.
Besides that, she has appeared in a number of mostly forgettable
telefilms, some with memorable titles like She Woke Up Pregnant
and When Friendship Kills. |
