Writeup: Born in Panama in 1973, Lori relocated to
Austin, Texas sometime in her youth. She made her feature
film debut in 8 Seconds (1994) and followed it up with Animal
Room (1995) and the TV movie Texas Justice (1995). A three
year absence from any appearance on screen followed, but since
1998 she has been working at a furious pace, appearing in
nearly 20 feature films. She has not yet nailed a breakthrough
role, but she has managed a number of small supporting parts
in big time movies. Her notable feature films include The
Newton Boys (1998), Just Sue Me (1999), the silly The In Crowd
(2000), the bizarre David Lynch film Mulholland Dr. (2001),
True Blue (2001), the amusingly titled Gas Station Jesus (2001),
the lovely indie Taboo (2002), Anger Management (2003), Runaway
Jury (2003) and Connecting Dots (2003). She is almost exclusively
a feature film actress, having appeared in only a few TV movies
and guest starring on a few shows, including Alias and 7th
Heaven. |
