Writeup: A star in the 70s and 80s, Loni began life
in Minnesota and was a beauty queen as a teenager (she made
it to the finals of the Miss Minnesota pageant and won a number
of smaller titles). Early stardom came when she was cast as
Jennifer Marlowe on the hit series "WKRP In Cincinatti,"
a show which ran for four years. Stricly a TV star for almost
her entire career, Loni starred in a number of TV movies and
specials in her off time, and in 1984 was cast as the lead
in the female detective show "Partners In Crime,"
a show which didn't make it past season one. "Easy Street"
followed in 1986, but it was another one year cancellation.
It's been all TV movies since then, aside from a one year
role on the series "Nurses" in 1993. In 2003 she
was cast on the series "The Mullets," a show which
looks sure to be canceled before it even gets off the ground.
