Writeup: Born in New York City, Lisa has developed
herself as a reliable character actress and has crafted a
respectable career in feature films, TV movies, and on TV
shows. Her first break came in 1984 as Tina in the feature
film Delivery Boys. In her early years she slowly put together
a resume, starring in TV movies Christmas Eve (1986), and
A Class Act (1987), and the feature film Nightmare Beach (1988)
before the decade was out. The 90s brought more consistent
work, and things really picked towards the middle of the decade.
In 1996 she made her first appearance as a series regular
on High Incident (apparently Steven Spielberg liked her work
on the show so much that he sent her a fan letter praising
her performance). Since 1996 she has been a fairly consistent
presence on TV, appearing on The Brian Benben Show (1998),
Third Watch (1999-2001), ER (2001-2003), and Heart of The
City (2001-????). Her feature films include I Like It Like
That (1994), Mighty Aphrodite (1995), Destination Unknown
(1997), Active Stealth (1999), The Blue Diner (2001), and
Chasing Papi (2003). |
