Writeup: It seems to me that Lisa has been waiting
on the cusp of a stardom of some sort for quite some time,
but it looks as though she might never get there. Mainly a
character actress due to her offbeat good looks, Lisa has
worked in both feature films and television since making her
feature film debut in 1991's Oliver Stone film The Doors.
Other feature films include As Good As It Gets (1997), I'm
Losing You (1998), Susan's Plan (1998), Keeping the Faith
(2000), What Women Want (2000) and Daddy Day Care (2003).
It's probably television that is Lisa's best medium, and it's
certainly where she has had the most success. She has appeared
as a series regular on a number of shows, including Almost
Perfect (1995), Relativity (1996), In the Loop (1998), Felicity
(2001-02) and Leap of Faith (2002). Outside of Felicity, none
of the shows was on the air for more than 1 year, leaving
Lisa out in the cold. Aside from these shows, she has had
a number of memorable guest starring roles, including 2 episodes
of Seinfeld, an intriguing story arc on The West Wing, and
playing transexual on Ally McBeal. |
