Writeup: Born in Los Angeles, California in 1949,
Lindsay originally began her showbiz career as a model, but
disliked it so much that she turned to acting. She began her
career guest starring on television shows like Night Gallery,
The Bold Ones and Marcus Welby, MD. Lindsay's big fame came
when she guest starred on the series The Six Million Dollar
Man and was such a big hit that she was offered her own show.
She took the deal, and The Bionic Woman was born. A huge hit
show, Lindsay won an Emmy and was nominated for two Golden
Globes for her work as the unique heroine of the show. Following
the show's final year, Lindsay began what would become a long
career of starring in TV movies (some even call her the queen
of made for TV movies). I'm not a huge fan of TV movies, they
often blow hard, but it's a wonderful way to forge a career. |
