Writeup: An attractive blonde, Leslie Erin Grossman
made her feature film debut in The Opposite of Sex (1998),
a lovely indie which starred Christina Ricci and Lisa Kudrow.
That same year she appeared in the well reviewed teen film
Can't Hardly Wait (1998), which starred Jennifer Love Hewitt
and underperformed at the box office despite it's quality.
1999 brought around a high profile role when she was cast
as Mary Cherry on the WB series Popular, which, despite only
being on the air for two years, maintains a rabid fan base
(they should release a DVD of the show). The show went off
the air in 2001 and Leslie worked little aside from guest
starring appearances on Any Day Now, Charmed, CSI and Nip/Tuck.
2003 found her on the WB again, this time as a mid series
addition to What I Like About You, the popular comedy starring
Amanda Bynes and Jennie Garth. Leslie was (presumably) brought
on to spice up the cast a little bit and add more humor. |
