Writeup: A beautiful, exotic actress from Santiago,
Chile, Leonor has slowly built an impressive resume, and a
sizable following her in America (not to mention her huge
popularity in her native country). Leonor has mixed foreign
films in with a solid string of American pictures to build
a solid career. She had a smattering of roles before 1999,
playing a ballroom beauty in Man In The Iron Mask and a role
on two foreign television shows, but her big American break
came in 1999 when she beat out 35 other actresses for the
role of Cleopatra in the ABC mini series of the same name.
After that high profile role she was cast in a number of American
films, including The Tailor Of Panama, Texas Rangers (a huge
bomb), and Blade II. Blade II was far and away the highest
profile role of all, and it make her an instant hit amongst
the teenage boys and young men the film was aimed at. We haven't
seen her in an American film since then, but the 2004 film
Americano promises good things. |
