Writeup: Born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky, Leah
was inspired to pursue acting after she witnessed firsthand
the majesty of a Broadway production. She has not experienced
superstar success, but she remains a working actress, and
has been since 1990 when she guest starred on the show They
Came From Outer Space. Her first feature film was Body Waves
(1992), a silly sex comedy (she did have the female lead though).
More guest starring roles on TV followed, including a high
profile role as Margaret, Hank Kingsley's wife on The Larry
Sanders Show. She continued to guest star on TV and appeared
in the feature film D2: The Mighty Ducks (1994), and Heavyweights
(1995) in the mid 90s before landing a role on the Pamela
Anderson syndicated show VIP. She played Kay Simmons, the
tech expert, on the sexy show from 1998-2002, when it was
taken off the air. It remains without a doubt her highest
profile role and the only thing I've seen her in since is
an episode of the CBS comedy Yes, Dear. |
