Writeup: Lauren Lane was born in Oklahoma and moved
to Texas at a young age. She spent all of her childhood in
Texas and eventually graduated from the University Of Texas
with a bachelor of fine arts degree in theater and then earned
a master's degree in the advanced training program at San
Francisco's American Conservatory Theatre. After graduation
Lauren jumped right into acting, appearing in local theater
projects. Lauren's work impressed someone, because NBC offered
her a development deal and before long she was cast on the
show Hunter. Sadly, she came onto the show in it's last year
on the air and her role wasn't long lived. After Hunter's
cancellation she appeared in a recurring role on LA Law before
being cast in the CBS show The Nanny in 1993. She played CC
Babcock for six years, until the shows run ended in 1999.
A beautiful blonde actress, we haven't seen Lauren work since
the end of the Nanny, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Other work Lauren has done includes the feature films Positive
I.D. (1987), Nervous Ticks (1992), and Gen 13 (1998 - voice).
