Writeup: Lauren Hutton is successful model and actress,
one of the first supermodels to make the logical transition
to acting, and one of the few models with a long career in
acting. At one time Lauren had graced the cover of more magazines
than any other American personality, and her modeling career
was one of the most enviable in the business. In 1968 she
made her feature film debut in the football comedy Paper Lion
playing the only major female character. While her acting
career never took off like her modeling career did (she was
never as successful an actress as she was a model), Lauren
has a number of memorable films on her resume. Her most memorable
movies include Pieces of Dreams (1970), The Gambler (1974),
Gator (1976), Welcome to L.A. (1976), American Gigolo (1980),
Paternity (1981), Lassiter (1984), Once Bitten (1985), Run
for Your Life (1988), Guilty as Charged (1991), A Rat's Tale
(1997), 54 (1998), and Just a Little Harmless Sex (1999).
She is no stranger to TV either, having appeared in more than
15 telepics and four TV shows as a regular. |
