Writeup: A veteran of no fewer than five failed tv
shows (within five years no less), Lauren finally hit it big
in 2000 with the critically acclaimed Gilmore Girls for the
WB. The consumate TV actress (she's also guested on any number
of quality sitcoms), Lauren uses her hiatus to build a movie
career, which has thus far fizzled out. It's not for lack
of trying though, and the Christmas film Bad Santa looks to
be a hit, so maybe things are turning around the for the movie
career. In the meantime, she has her well rated and critically
loved series to fall back on, so life is good. |
