Writeup: Laura Leighton is a gorgeous gal who began
her career in the dreadful made for TV movie Victim Of Love:
The Shannon Mohr Story. It was an uncredited role, very small
part, and in 1993 she landed a part on the hit show Melrose
Place. She played Sydney for four years and left the show
in 1997. I believe she left to spend more time with her family,
she married costar Doug Savant in 1998. Since leaving the
show she has appeared in a few feature films, Seven Girlfriends,
Clean And Narrow and Angels, Baby! among them. In 2003 she
was cast as Cynthia Peterson, the DA's campaign manager in
the new Fox drama Skin. Opening ratings were very bad, so
it might be a long job for her. |
