Writeup: Laura Innes is best known as Dr. Carrie Weaver
on ER, a part she has played since 1995, but she had built
herself a respectable TV career prior to landing that role.
She made her debut in the 1978 feature film The Fury, and
appeared on the Stiller & Meara Show in 1986. In 1988
she had a role on the long running soap Another World, and
played Bunny Mather on the NBC series Wings for two years
from 1991-1993. Seven TV movies followed her role on Wings
before landing the big fish of ER, a show she has now been
on for 8 years (as of 2003). Since then she has appeared in
two feature films and two telepics. |
