Writeup: Laura Antonelli came to prominence in the
1970s when the big screen had become sexually freer, allowing
more frank portrayals of sexuality and nudity in major films.
Laura fit right into this mold, becoming a new age sex symbol
with her soft, shapely body and beautiful face. She never
achieved fame in this country to the level of other sex symbols
like Brigitte Bardot, but she was a popular figure nonetheless.

popular films stateside include The Divine Nymph (1971), Till
Marriage Do Us Part (1974), Malicious (1974), Wifemistress
(1977), and Hypochondriac (1979). Other notable films include
Le Sedicenni (1965, her first appearance in a motion picture),
The Archangel (1969), Secret Fantasy (1971), How Funny Can
Sex Be? (1973), Mogliamante (1977), Slices of Life (1985)
and Malizia 2000 (1992). The latter marked her last appearance
on film, although she remains in the minds of a many a picture
