Writeup: Lainie Kazan has been a working actress since
the mid 60s when she starred as a series regular on The Dean
Martin Summer Show (1966). However, she didn't really make
any distinct impression until the 80s when she began working
steadily. A wonderful character actress for most of her career,
she has appeared in numerous feature films, TV movies and
television shows. Her feature film work includes The Journey
Of Natty Gann (1985), The Delta Force (1986), Harry And The
Hendersons (1987), Beaches (1988), Out Of The Dark (1989),
29th Street (1991), The Associate (1996), The Big Hit (1996),
The Crew (2000), My Big Fat Greek Wedding (2002), and Gigli
(2003). Her series work is less impressive, most are short
lived, but here it goes anyway: The Paper Chase (1985-86),
Karen's Song (1987) and My Big Fat Greek Life (2003). |
