Writeup: An actress on the TV show Apple's Way at
the age of 12, Kristy was a big star in the 80s as an adult.
Most people fall flat on their face when they try and transplant
themselves from childhood stardom to a full fledged adult
career, but Kristy seemed to handle it well. She was cast
on the drama Family in 1976 and was with the show for it's
entire run until 1980. While on the show she performed in
a number of made for TV movies and the occasional feature
film. Kristy will probably always be remember as a TV star,
because her film career never really took off. She has been
a part of a number of feature films, although none are particularly
memorable. In 1988 Kristy was cast on the series Empty Nest
and spent five years with the show. It was the last work she's
done. |
