| The
Writeup: Kristen Wilson was born in Masschusetts where
she trained for years as a ballet dancer, eventually spending
four years with the Boston Ballet. She received a Bachelor
of Fine Arts from Syracuse University, and while there she
took a break in her junior year to join a national touring
company of West Side Story. Her feature film debut was in
Prototype X29A (1992), but she wouldn't see a "big break"
until being cast on Another World in 1994. This led to bigger
and better things, including a role in the 1996 Adam Sandler
and Damon Wayans starrer Bulletproof. The movie ended up being
something of a flop, but Kristen was on the way to the top,
having been in Girl 6 that same year. In 1998 she starred
with Eddie Murphy in the mega popular family comedy Doctor
Dolittle. The next year more roles came her way, including
Harlem Aria (1999) and Cross-Eyed (1999). She has since starred
in The Photographer (2000), Dungeons & Dragons (2000), Dr.
Dolittle 2 (2001), and Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (2002).
In 2004 she will star opposite The Rock in MGM's Walking Tall
(2004), a mid budget action flick. |
