Writeup: Kirstie got her big break when she was cast
in Star Trek: The Wrath Of Khan in 1982 and she didn't waste
it. Since then, she's worked more than most actresses can
claim, and she's been a huge success in a number of her projects.
More widely known as a TV star than for her movies, Kirstie
was cast on Cheers to replace Shelley Long and was with the
long running series for six years. In 1997 she got her very
own TV series, the positively dreadful Veronica's Closet,
which despite is awfulness managed to run for four years (I
think) thanks to it's cushy timeslot. Since then Kirstie has
gotten old, and just a little bit heavy, and her work product
has gone down. Look for her in TV movies and more awful TV
commercials for Pier One in the future. |
