| The
Writeup: Khandi Alexander made her debut in the 1984
feature film Streetwalkin' and followed that up with small
roles in A Chorus Line (1985) and Maid To Order (1987). However,
her career didn't really get to it's feet until 1993 when
she began landing consistent roles in feature films and on
television. 1993 was in fact a very successful year for her,
with roles in CB4, Joshua Tree, Menace II Society, What's
Love Got To Do With It and Poetic Justice. She followed that
up with three feature films in 1994, House Party 3, Sugar
Hill and Greedy. With two years like that behind her, it's
no wonder the producers of Newsradio (1995) wanted her for
the role of Catherine Duke, a sassy news reporter. She also
landed the recurring role of Jackie Robbins, Eriq LaSalle's
sister, on ER, a role she played until 2001. She currently
appears weekly on the CBS hit CSI: Miami. |
