Writeup: A child actress (she began on the Mickey
Mouse Club) turned into adult star, everyone remember's Keri
Russell for her role as the moody Felicity on the moody series
Felicity. First appearing on film in the goofy Honey, I Blew
Up The Kid (man did they milk that series), Keri appeared
on three failed television shows in four years. The best of
these was Malibu Shores, where Keri was cast completely against
type. I remember her as the bitchy rich girl, where she plays
the sweet girl much more effectively. I think her hair is
mesmerizing and tricked the producers into thinking she could
pull it off. When Keri landed on Felicity, she became the
toast of Hollywood. The series was buzzed about and the lead
actress was on the cover of every entertainment magazine around.
Although the series debuted to good numbers, viewership declined
steadily until the they were forced to cancel the show in
the 4th season (not to mention Keri cut her hair and caused
a furor). Now Keri appears as a supporting actress in the
occasional feature film. |
