Writeup: Katie Couric is without a doubt America's
sweetheart, and she is probably one of the biggest reason's
for the Today Show's dominance over the other morning shows.
The Today Show consistently beats the pulp out of the other
network morning shows and has done so for a decade now. Katie
Couric is widely recognized as one of NBC's top talents, and
they clearly recognize that, paying her $14 million a year
to keep her with the network and make sure she doesn't retire.
She began her career at CNN and became the host of the Today
Show in 1991, becoming one of the keys to it's wild success.
Presumably, she can hold that job for as long as she likes. |
