Writeup: A prolific actress in the late 60s and 70s,
Katharine will probably always be remembered for the role
that thrust her into the spotlight. She was cast as Elaine
Robinson, the object of Benjamin Braddock's romantic obsession
in The Graduate. She earned an Academy Award nomination for
the role and was an instant celebrity. She appeared in a number
of high profile films after her career making role in The
Graduate, including Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid and
The Stepford Wives. When the 80's rolled around Katharine
appeared in a few feature films but mostly appeared in tv
movies. Since the late eighties she has worked sparingly,
appearing in only a few select projects. |
