Writeup: No matter what she does, no matter how she
changes her look, and no matter what show or movie she appears
in, Katey Sagal will forever be remembered as Peggy Bundy,
the ditzy wife on the long running sitcom Married... with
Children. It was such an eccentric part, and she was so excellent
playing it, that her role, and the show, are forever burned
into the collective conscious of America. That's why she wasn't
really a featured player on 8 Simple Rules, and probably why
the show will have difficulty staying on the air without John
Ritter. I really like her voice work on Futurama though, and
you really have no idea it's Peggy Bundy when it comes to
voice work. |
