Writeup: Karyn Parsons is a beautiful and talented
actress, but we all know her from one role. And that's the
role of Hilary Banks on the Will Smith sitcom The Fresh Prince
Of Bel Air. She played the ditzy rich girl on the show, and
she played it to perfection, winning over TV viewers week
after week. She performed in a few movies while on the show,
Class Act, Major Payne and the made for TV mini series Gulliver's
Travels, and when the show went off the air in 1996 she was
immediately picked up to star on Lush Life, a series that
didn't make it past five episodes. Not exactly an in demand
film actress, Karyn did two more movies, Mixing Nia and The
Ladies Man before landing a role on the Denis Leary show The
Job. In another tough break, The Job crapped out after one
year, leaving Karyn out of a job. She remains that way, but
could very well be striking a deal to star on another show
as you read this. |
