| The
Writeup: Born in Tahiti, Karina moved to Barcelona,
Spain with her father at the age of 1. In her late teens she
went into modeling and began acting on stage. It wasn't long
before she made the logical transition to the big screen,
and her first feature film appearance was a small part in
Oliver Stone's The Doors (1991). Since the she has led a relatively
quiet career, although she has appeared in a few impressive
films, most notably The Firm (1993), Legends of the Fall (1994),
Last Man Standing (1996). After those three films things seemed
to taper off for Karina, with appearances in the dreadful
Kull the Conqueror (1997), plus little known films Exposé
(1998), Guardian (2000) and Deception (2001). 2001 marks the
last time she has appeared in anything, although she is due
to star in the 2004 TV series The L Word. |
