Writeup: Like the rest of the cast, Julianna Margulies
rose to fame when she landed the role of nurse Carol Hathaway
on the mega hit TV show ER. She's was the show's emotional
pulse and delivered consistently excellent perfromances, nabbing
six Emmy nominations and taking home one statue. In a move
that many of her castmates did both before and after her,
Julianna decided to leave the show after seven years. Now
I'll never understand this, the money that she was passing
up was probably astronomical, but the grind of a weekly 1
hour series can be excrutiating. Nevertheless, Julianna has
since worked steadily, in tv movies & low budget flicks,
most often wasting her precious skill & talent. |
