| The
Writeup: One of TV's hottest bombshells during the
late 70s and early 80s, Judy Landers landed her first major
role appearing in the feature film The Yum-Yum Girls (1976),
a glorified skin flick (her role was little more than a bit
part). Her next role was the series Vega$, which starred Robert
Urich and established her as a bombshell, with her big breasts
and blonde hair. She was only with the series for it's first
season (it would run till 1981, she left in 1979). She also
appeared on the shows B.J. and the Bear (1981) and Madame's
Place (1982) before graduating to feature films full time.
She subsequently appeared in a number of less than memorable
movies, like The Black Marble (1980), Doin' Time (1985), Deadly
Twins (1985, about two sisters who are raped and then carry
out their own brand of justice after getting no help from
the police), Armed and Dangerous (1986), Stewardess School
(1986), Dr. Alien (1988), Club Fed (1990), and Expert Weapon
(1993). Most of her films were of the B level variety, but
managed to be entertaining by not taking themselves too seriously. |
