has been nominated twice for an Academy Award, for 1984's
A Passage To India and 1992's Husbands and Wives. She made
her film debut in 1977 in High Rolling, and from there proceeded
to craft an amazingly varied and quality collection of film
roles. While her career took a downturn in the mid 90's, she
was relegated to supporting roles and character parts, Judy
experienced a renaissance with her well received and Emmy
winning performance as Judy Garland in the ABC TV movie "Life
With Judy Garland: Me And My Shadows". She once again
proved she's a fantastic actress who can play any part. |
