The Writeup: Joan Severance was born and raised in Texas. At the age of 18 she moved to Paris to pursue a career in modeling and hit it big almost immediately. She appeared on the cover of many top fashion magazines and worked the runway the world over. By 1985 she was one of the world's top models, but decided she's like to give Hollywood a try. She moved to Los Angeles and began an acting career. As would be expected, it didn't take her long to land a manager and agent, but it would take nearly three years before she appeared on our radar screens as Susan Profitt in the TV show Wiseguys in 1988. Since then we've seen her in a number of B movies, taking her clothes off for the good of the film, and pleasing many young men around the world. It's probably not the career she imagined when she made the move to Hollywood, but Joan has become a legitimate B movie star.
