| The
Writeup: Jill Schoelen was a successful working actress
for 15 years, first appearing on screen in the TV movie Best
of Times (1981, which also featured Nicolas Cage in an early
role). Jill studied at Gena Bua's Acting for Life Theatre
and made her feature film debut in D.C. Cab (1983), the tale
of a rundown cab company and it's cabbies, the film starred
Mr. T and Gary Busey. Jill subsequently earned starring roles
in a number of movies, mostly in the horror/thriller genre,
although she did manage to branch out sometimes. Notable feature
films include Thunder Alley (1985), Hot Moves (1985), The
Bite (1988), Cutting Class (1989, this movie also starred
Brad Pitt, whom Jill dated and was eventually engaged to for
a short time after playing opposite him in the film), Phantom
of the Opera: The Motion Picture (1989, playing Christine),
Rich Girl (1991), Adventures in Spying (1992) and her final
feature film, Not Again! (1995). She also appeared in 9 TV
movies over the years, including Babes in Toyland (1986, which
starred Keanu Reeves, another hunk Jill has been romantically
linked with), Gambler (1988) and Triumph Over Disaster: The
Hurricane Andrew Story (1993). Since 1995 she has chosen to
concentrate on raising her family with her husband Anthony,
a composer for movies. |
