Writeup: Jessica Lange, born in Minnesota in 1949,
is an insanely talented actress. Nominated for six Academy
Awards, and winner of two, she's spent her career playing
diverse characters and delivering strong performances every
time she steps in front of the camera. Her first film role
was in the dreadful King Kong (not a good star), but she easily
overcame that blunder by showing she was a pure talent, exhibited
best in 1982 when she nabbed to Oscar nominations, for Tootsie
and Frances (winning for Tootsie). After that, it was easy
money, and Hollywood knew Jessica was a talent to be reckoned
with. |
