| The
Writeup: Jessalyn Gilsig is a pretty blonde actress
with a seemingly bright career in front of her. She is a talented
theater actress, she trained at American Repertory Theatre's
Institute for Advanced Theatre Training at Harvard University
and has appeared in a laundry list of theater projects over
the years. Of course, it's her work in Hollywood that you
know her from, so that's what I'm going to talk about. She
debuted with a small role in Jacknife (1989) and appeared
in the TV series Young Robin Hood (1992) for it's brief run,
but it wasn't really until the late 90s that she got things
going, guest starring on, among other shows, Viper, Seven
Days, Snoops and The Practice. Two of these are David E. Kelley
shows, so it should be no surprise that Jessalyn was among
the original cast members of the David E. Kelley show Boston
Public. She was on the show from 2000-2002 and has since appeared
in the feature film See This Movie (2003) and played Gina
in five episodes of the F/X series Nip/Tuck. |
