year old Jenny Wright made her Broadway debut in 1980's Album.
In 1982 she appeared as a groupie in the trippy Pink Floyd
The Wall. She subsequently appeared in The World According
to Garp (1982), The Wild Life (1984), St. Elmo's Fire (1985)
and Out of Bounds (1986). She was dubbed a member of the Brat
Pack, a group of popular young actors in the 80s, including
Rob Lowe and Demi Moore, but was uncomfortable with this label
and took darker, more difficult roles including Near Dark
(1987), Valentino Returns (1989) and A Shock to the System
(1990). Other feature films include Young Guns II (1990),
Twister (1990), and The Lawnmower Man (1992). She also appeared
on the 1990 series Capital News. After 1992 she basically
stopped acting, with the exception of 1998's feature film
Enchanted. |
