Writeup: A cute actress with a smooth, flawless face,
Jean Louisa Kelly has led a long and successful career in
both feature films and television. She made her feature film
debut in 1989's John Candy flick Uncle Buck. American Shaolin
(1991) followed, and then there was a lull. She returned in
1994 in the TV movies Breathing Lessons and One More Mountain.
Since then she's been acting pretty consistently, appearing
in feature films like Mr. Holland's Opus (1995), Harvest of
Fire (1996), Origin of the Species (1998), and The Fantasticks
(2000). In addition, she has appeared in five more TV movies
since her first two. However, TV has brought her the most
fame. In 1999 she was cast in the series Cold Feet, and while
it lasted only a handful of episodes she must have impressed
someone, because the very next year she was cast in the CBS
show Yes, Dear. While not a critical favorite, the show has
garnered impressive ratings each year of it's existence and
continues to be a strong performer. |
