Writeup: Jasmine Guy was introduced to the TV viewing
world in 1987 as Whitley Marion Gilbert Wayne on the hit TV
series A Different World. The show ran for a long six years,
and Jasmine was along for the whole ride. Since the show went
off the air Jasmine hasn't been featured in anything as high
profile, but she's certainly worked extensively in both TV
and feature films. Some of her memorable feature films include
Harlem Nights, Boy Meets Girl, Madeline, Guinevere, and Diamond
Men. She has also appeared in a number of made for TV movies
and is currently working on the Showtime series Dead Like
Me. |
