Writeup: Known as James King when she was a mode (I
believe she changed the name to avoid any gender mixups in
Hollywood) Jaime has used her beauty and status as a popular
model to establish a burgeoning Hollywood career. At the age
of 16 Jaime was already one of the top models in the world,
appearing on the cover of many elite fashion magazines and
commanding big money on the runway. Most models don't last
past their 21st birthday, so Jaime smartly began the transition
to acting with a succession of small, quality roles. She appeared
in Blow, Happy Campers and Pearl Harbor in 2001, all small
parts, but all excellent for an actress looking to quietly
build a career. While many of her films haven't worked out,
Slacker blew hard and Bulletproof Monk didn't succeed, Jaime
will no doubt become a sought after film actress. |
