Writeup: Imogen Stubbs is a highly educated British
actress, holding a degree from Oxford in her hands. She is
also a former member of the Royal Shakespeare Company, one
of the most prestigious performing groups in the world. While
with the RSC she did Richard II, Two Noble Kinsmen, The Rover,
and Othello. Also an accomplished actress of the screen, both
big and small, she made her feature film debut in an Oxford
University student film, Privileged (1982), playing Imogen.
A very young Hugh Grant appeared (credited here as Hughie),
played a leading role. Other feature film roles include A
Summer Story (1988), Erik the Viking (1989), True Colors (1991),
A Pin for the Butterfly (1994), Sense and Sensibility (1995),
and Collusion (2003). She has also appeared on the short lived
TV shows Anna Lee (1993) and Big Kids (2000), neither of which
made it past a handful of episodes. |
