Writeup: A former model, Hudson gave up that life
to pursue acting, and luckily she's had a measure of success,
and has certainly attained massive celebrity in some circles.
Her breakthrough role was a guest starring part on Law &
Order in 1993. Shortly after this role she was cast on the
series University Hospital, which didn't make it past season
1. The very next year she appeared as Shelly Hanson on Melrose
place, although her character didn't make it through the first
half of season 1. It was in 1996 that Hudson nabbed her biggest
role. She was cast as the sexy Callisto on the syndicated
series Xena: Warrior Princess, and would play the role until
2000. It has garnered her tremendous fame among fans of the
show, she even attends the conventions as a paid guest of
honor. She has also appeared in the feature films Dangerous
Cargo (1996), After the Game (1997), Chill Factor (1999),
Blood Type (1999) and Cold Heart (2001). |
