Writeup: Hedy Burress broke into the big time in a
flourish in 1996, appearing in the feature film Foxfire (with
Angelina Jolie), the TV movie Seduced By Madness: The Diane
Borchardt Story and the sitcom Boston Common. Boston Common
was an NBC Thursday night show, meaning it garnered huge ratings,
and got Hedy's face in front of a tremendous audience, on
a nightly basis. Unfortunately, the show didn't get big enough
ratings for NBC execs so it was axed. However, Hedy has kept
acting without faily, appearing on TV and in feature films
frequently. Her other TV shows include The Closer (1998) and
First Monday (2002), both short lived. Her notable feature
films include Getting Personal (1999), Tick Tock (2000), Valentine
(2001), Bug (2002), Open House (2003), and Death by Committee
