Writeup: What a cruel world Hollywood can be. In the
summer of 1999, when the Blair Witch Project hit theaters,
there was no more popular actress on the planet, at least
for a few weeks, than Heather Donahue. She did all the talk
shows, hit the cover of countless magazines, and probably
thought she had punched her ticket to easy street in Hollywood.
However, it's almost like she was smacked down because she
hadn't worked long and hard enough to make her big break.
She has actually appeared in a number of films, and guested
on a couple of television series', but there's nothing on
her resume as big as Blair Witch. Films include Boys And Girls,
Seven And A Match, New Suit, The Big Time. None of them really
ring a bell, except perhaps the dreadful Freddy Prinze Jr
movie Boys And Girls. Heather has talent and decent enough
looks, so she should able to pull it off, it may just take
some more work. |
