The Writeup: Grace Jones is a singer, model, and actress all wrapped up into one. She's not particularly famous for any one thing in particular, but the whole package makes her a celebrity. To the best of my knowledge she released her first album in 1977 and has released albums with some regularity into the new millenium. Her first feature film came in 1973's Gordon's War. In the mid 80s she experienced a period of extreme celebrity, brought on by key roles in a few big time movies, namely Conan the Destroyer (1984) and A View to a Kill (1985). This is probably when she worked the most, both musically and in the realm of acting. Other feature films include Vamp (1986), Straight to Hell (1987), Frantic (1988), Boomerang (1992), Cyber Bandits (1995), and Palmer's Pick Up (1999). The lovely Grace remains active to this day.
