Writeup: The daughter of Hollywood legend Charlie
Chaplin, Geraldine has made a wonderful career for herself,
appearing in mostly supporting roles in countless quality
films over the years. She made her major film debut in the
1965 film Doctor Zhivago. Subsequent film roles found her
mostly playing supporting characters, but she has nonetheless
crafted a remarkable resume. Some of her most well known films
are The Hawaiians (1970), Nashville (1975), The Four Musketeers
(1975), Buffalo Bill And The Indians (1976), Welcome To LA
(1977), A Wedding (1978), White Mischief (1987), The Moderns
(1987), The Age Of Innocence (1993), Jane Eyre (1996). In
an strange bit of casting, she was cast as her own Grandmother
in the 1992 film Chaplin, playing Charlie Chaplin's mother. |
