She is more well known for her beauty and body than for her
acting talents or star power. She began her career as a model
on The Price Is Right in 1995, moving on to Baywatch soon
after. She played Neely Capshaw from 1995-98, rising her worldwide
profile sky high, like most of the other babes who have appeared
on the show. Much like most of the other babes who have been
on the show, Gena has had some trouble securing steady acting
work, although she has done a great deal of work. In 1997
she was the host of That's Incredible, a silly magazine style
show. In 2000 she starred as Sheena on the syndicated series
of the same name. It was a silly Xena: Warrior Princess rip
off and Gena's breasts couldn't carry the show to big ratings,
so it was canceled quickly. She has since appeared as a judge
for the 2002 Miss Universe Pageant, in the movie The Flunky
(2000) and on Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding, a made for TV movie. |
