Writeup: Essence Atkins is a talented black actress
who has been working her way up in Hollywood for nearly ten
years now. It started in 1995 with her role on the TV series
Under One Roof. In the following two years she had series
regular roles on two TV shows: Malibu Shores (1996) and Smart
Guy (1997-99). In 2000 she appeared in the TV movie Love Song
and in 2001 her feature film career began with Nikita Blues.
Since then she has appeared in XCU: Extreme Close Up (2001),
How High (2001), Looking Through Lillian (2002), Deliver Us
from Eva (2003). In addition to all that she has guest starred
on a number of quality shows including Family Matters, The
Wayans Bros., The John Laroquette Show, and Moesha. |
