Writeup: Erin Gray began her career as a model, she
moved to New York at age 15 to pursue it, and was a hugely
successful model at that. She appeared in a number of major
TV ads, including a memorable English Leather cologne spot,
and made sure to study acting when she could. When the TV
offers began coming in, Erin was ready to give acting a shot
and she accepted a role in the campy TV series Buck Rogers
In The 25th Century. The series only lasted two years, but
it was a cult hit, and Erin will always have a loyal fanbase
due to her role on the show. The 1982 series Silver Spoons
was an even bigger hit for her though. It was on the air for
five years and Erin was one of the stars, making her a big
celebrity in the 80s. She hasn't reached those heights again,
but she has maintained a healthy career nonetheless. She had
a role on the 1999-2000 season of Profiler and also spent
that year on the soap opera Port Charles. Her most memorable
feature films (there aren't many) include Six Pack (1982),
Jason Goes To Hell: The Final Friday (1993), Official Denial
(1994), and Social Misfits (2001). In the new millenium she
has worked on many feature films, although they are all of
the independent film variety. |
