Writeup: A one time Oscar nominee, for her role in
1980's Inside Moves, Diana never fulfilled the potential that
many thought she had. She was named one John Willis' 12 Promising
New Actors Of 1980 in Screen World, but it never seemed to
materialize, even though she was clearly very talented. Her
feature films after the nomination include Mommie Dearest
(1981), Strange Invaders (1983), Silkwood (1983), Psycho III
(1986), Brenda Starr (1989), If These Walls Could Talk (TV
1996), and What Lies Beneath (2000). After her heyday in the
early to mid 80s she saw a downhill turn in her level of work,
it's likely good scripts were no longer being offered to her.
When the 90s rolled around she appeared mostly in TV productions. |
