Writeup: The granddaughter of Hollywood legend Bing
Crosby, Denise Crosby has built a long and respectable resume
in her career. She made her debut as Lisa Davis on the soap
opera Days Of Our Lives and quickly had roles in a number
of quality films, including 48 Hrs (1982) and Trail Of The
Pink Panther and Curse Of The Pink Panther (1982 and 1983
respectively). Many people probably remember her from her
one season on Star Trek: The Next Generation as Lieutenant
Tasha Yar. She left the show after it's first year because
here character wasn't given enough action scenes. I would
judge that to be a foolish move considering the popularity
of the show and it's movies, but that's just me. Since Star
Trek she has appeared in a number of feature films, and the
most notable are as follows: Pet Semetary (1989), Dolly Dearest
(1992), High Strung (1994), Executive Power (1997), and Deep
Impact (1998). She has also appeared in two of the Red Shoe
Diaries videos. |
