Writeup: Debra Jo Rupp was nearly forty by the time
she landed her big break in Hollywood, an almost unheard of
occurrence. She has now become a well known face thanks to
her role as Kitty Forman on Fox's That 70's Show. She did
a great deal of work before that, especially on TV, so let's
talk about that. Her first role on a TV series was as Ms.
Higgins on the 1991 show Davis Rules, a short lived series.
If Not For You (1995), The Office (1995), The Jeff Foxworthy
Show (1995), Over The Top (1997) and a recurring role on Friends
followed. Each show lasted no more than a year (her role on
Friends was a year long), and it wasn't until 1998 that the
struggling ended and she ended up with a steady job (That
70s Show). The show continues to be a big hit, and Debra continues
her stunning run as a popular actress. Her feature film roles
include Death Becomes Her (1992), Sgt. Bilko (1996), Clockwatcher
(1997), and Senseless (1998). |
