Writeup: A former model for such high class brands
as Chanel and Dior, Daniela Amavia made her feature film debut
starring in the German film Anna (1988). In fact, her early
career was almost stricltly in foreign films like Der Papagei
(1992), Rosenemil (1993), Affären (1994), and Dangerous Dowry
(1996). In 1999 she wrote, directed and starred in Rockin'
Good Times, about a young woman named Adrienne who meets and
falls in love with rock star Jimmy Rapture in one strange
night in LA. The next year she starred in the American indie
Facade (2000) and her US career was kicked off. She has since
been in Venus and Mars (2001), Nocturnal (2002), and Aries
Moon (2002). Her biggest exposure in America has probably
come courtesy of the mini series Children Of Dune (2003),
which ran on the Sci-Fi channel. She starred as Alia Atreides
and was superbly sexy throughout, earning her a fanbase of
young men. She has also starred in a number of German TV movies,
and strangely enough, appeared in the American TV movie Hart
to Hart: Two Harts in Three-Quarters Time (1995), in between
her performances in German made films. |
